I have spent years helping my two younger siblings with homework, test prep, projects, and grasping new concepts. I realized we all learn differently. Sometimes the goal is not just finding the right answer, but helping discover how they got there. For instance, I help my 9-year-old sister take time to examine her process, leading her to gain confidence in her own ability to figure things out.
As a Dean's List student at The Ohio State University, a recipient of the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, and a former second-grade Hebrew school teacher, I have developed patience, strong communication skills, and experience in adapting lessons to different learning styles and ages.
Self-trust in problem-solving is hard to achieve, but I believe it’s so important for kids to feel. Whether it's math, reading, writing, study skills, or school projects, I focus on creating a supportive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
